Hearthstone, previously known as Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is a game published by Blizzard Entertainment in 2012. Indeed, it is a collectible card program that can be run in single or multi-player. The game's games can be played here either in a "Standard" or "Free" manner. In the first case, it is only possible to play with the cards from the previous two years. On the other hand, in the second case, the player can resort to using all the cards he has.
During a Hearthstone match in "Adventure" mode, it is expected that each player will face an opponent guided by the program. Here too, two choices are possible namely: the "Training" sub-mode and the "Adventure" sub-mode. The first option allows participants to take on a hero, the innkeeper, who is guided by the game AI. And on the other hand, as the name suggests, the "adventure" sub-mode allows you to explore all the adventures of the game since its first expansion. The goal here is to acquire new cards as the player progresses.
The player is invited to build his Deck and face several competitors. To acquire his cards, he must spend 150 gold coins corresponding to a sum of 1.99 euros. To win, he must succeed to defeat the opponents 12 times. In addition, the game is over after 3 defeats. So there is no question of being the weak link in the arena!
Also known as "Battlegrounds", this mode pits 8 competitors against each other in a series of automatic battles. The last survivor is declared the winner of the game. What's interesting about this mode is that it's possible for players to recruit multiple minions to resist enemy attacks.
A game of Hearthstone in "Armwrestling" mode pits two players against each other as they build their own decks. Revolving around particular themes, "Armwrestling" challenges vary weekly and take place from Wednesday evening to Monday morning. Players compete against randomly selected opponents, or they can be friendly matches. The winner is usually rewarded with a set of classic cards.
Video game publishers hold electronic sports competitions on a very regular basis. Beyond regional tournaments, some confrontations take place every year on a global level. In particular, we can mention the HCT (Hearthstone Championship Tour) which is a tournament in which several players from all countries of the earth are called to compete. The winner of the championship receives the title of world champion.

The history of Hearthstone Esport has seen great champions like James "Firebat" Kosteich from the United States in 2014 and Xiaomeng "VKLiooon" Li from China. The latter was even the first female HCT world champion.
